What is the Non-linear Movement Method®?

BECOME MORE SENSITIZED TO THE FEELINGS OF YOUR BODY

The NLMM® is a trauma-informed movement practice helping you to become more sensitized to the feelings of your body.

In a nutshell, the practice helps you release stress and overwhelm, unite body, mind and heart and foster vitality and wellbeing. (For more info watch the video below).

This powerful embodiment modality has been developed by Michaela Boehm over the past 2 decades. Rooted in her early somatic training, developed and refined within her clinic working within a demographic with severe trauma, addiction and personality disorders she then further refined and adapted it for a broader use in her experiential workshops to help connecting students with their inner landscape, exploring, and releasing physical contractions, withholds and emotional closures.

I'm certified in Level 1 and Level 2 of The Non-linear Movement Method® and offer sessions live online and in-person.

What to expect from a NLMM® Session

A "NO FORCE/NO IMPOSITION“
SOMATIC MODALITY

NLMM® is specifically designed as a “no force/no imposition“ somatic modality which means that apart from a few basic guidelines and prompts, you won’t be instructed on how to move your body. Neither will I tell you what you should feel or experience. It can be practiced by anyone regardless of physical health, ability, fitness level or age.

This is your time for "interoception" the ability to feel what is “inside” and become more body aware.

It is facilitated on a mat or blanket. You will dress similar to a yoga or dance class, in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.
